Anna Werblińska (born 14 May 1984) is a famous Polish volleyball player. She was a key member of the Poland women's national volleyball team for ten years, from 2006 to 2016. Anna also played in the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008. She won a bronze medal at the European Championship in 2009. On top of that, she helped her club teams win the Polish Championship four times!

Anna Werblińska's Life
Anna Werblińska was born Anna Barańska. On 19 June 2010, she married Sebastian Werbliński and changed her last name. In November 2017, she shared the happy news that she was going to have her first child.
Anna also has a sister named Bogumiła. Bogumiła, who was born in 1986, is also a talented volleyball player, just like Anna!
Anna's Volleyball Career
Anna Werblińska had a very successful career playing volleyball for both her country and different clubs.
Playing for the National Team
Anna was a big part of the Poland women's national volleyball team. In October 2009, she and her teammates won a bronze medal at the European Championship. They played really well and beat Germany to secure their medal.
Later, Anna also took part in the first-ever European Games. In 2015, her national team made it all the way to the final match. They beat Serbia in the semifinals. Even though they were beaten by Turkey in the final, Anna and her team proudly took home the silver medal.
Club Successes
Anna played for several different volleyball clubs throughout her career. She helped her teams win many important titles.
Winning National Championships
Anna Werblińska was a champion many times in Poland. She won the Polish Championship four times:
- 2006/2007 with Winiary Kalisz
- 2009/2010 with BKS Stal Bielsko-Biała
- 2013/2014 with KPS Chemik Police
- 2014/2015 with KPS Chemik Police
She also won the Polish Cup three times and the Polish SuperCup three times with her clubs. These wins show how strong her teams were and how important she was to their success.
European Club Success
Anna also had success in European club competitions. In the 2012/2013 season, she won the CEV Cup with her team, Bank BPS Muszynianka Fakro Muszyna. This is a big achievement for any club team in Europe.

Individual Awards
Anna Werblińska also received special awards for her amazing skills on the court.
- In 2001, she was named the Best Spiker at the CEV U18 European Championship.
- In 2002, she was the Best Defender at the CEV U20 European Championship.
- She was recognized as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Polish Cup in 2009 and 2014.
- In 2013, she was the Best Receiver in the CEV Cup.
- In 2014, she was also named the Most Valuable Player of the Polish Championship.
These awards show that Anna was not only a great team player but also stood out for her individual talent.
