Early Career and Investments
Before starting Amadeus Capital Partners in 1997, Anne Glover worked at another investment company called Apax Partners & Company Ventures. She was part of the team that decided where to invest money. She also acted as a "business angel," which means she personally invested her own money to help new technology companies in the UK get started.
Glover also worked for Virtuality Group plc. There, she was the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of a company that made equipment for virtual reality. Earlier in her career, she worked for Cummins Engine. For five years, she was a manager and consultant with Bain & Company in Boston.
Leadership in Business Associations
Anne Glover was the chair of the British Venture Capital Association (BVCA). This group represents many private equity and venture capital firms in the UK. She was also on the Technology Strategy Board for the UK's Department of Trade and Industry.
