People often remember her for her roles in the popular movies Mrs. Doubtfire and Liar Liar. She was also known for playing Alberta Meechum on the TV show Mama's Family.

Acting Career
Anne Haney started her acting career in the 1970s. She first appeared in commercials and local plays. She performed in cities like Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Norfolk, Virginia.
She became a familiar face on television. She played Rishon Uxbridge in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Later, she appeared as a Bajoran arbitrator in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
Anne Haney was a regular guest star on the TV show Mama's Family. She played Alberta Meechum, who was often a rival to the main character, Thelma Harper. On the show Our House, she played a neighbor named Virginia Taft. She also played Judge Marilyn Travelini on the show L.A. Law.
She made guest appearances on many other popular TV shows. These included Benson, Cheers, Designing Women, The Golden Girls, Charmed, Boy Meets World, Columbo, ER, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Ally McBeal.
