Before becoming a politician, Annessa Hartman worked in different jobs. From 2008 to 2016, she worked in catering in Los Angeles and Concord, California. Later, she moved to Portland, Oregon, to plan events at Portland Center Stage.

She also worked as a catering director for Eurest USA. From 2018 to 2020, she was a sales manager at Marriott. From 2020 to 2022, she worked for the Native American Youth and Family Center. There, she helped with marketplace and retail activities.

Serving Her Community

Annessa Hartman began her public service in 2020. She was elected to the Gladstone City Council. The City Council helps make decisions for the city.

In November 2022, she was elected to the Oregon House of Representatives. This is a part of the state government that makes laws for Oregon. She started her work there in January 2023. She was re-elected in 2024 to continue serving her district.
