Annie Hartley (born in 1873) was an English actress. She is famous for being the earliest-born woman known to have appeared in a film. We do not know when or where she passed away.

Annie Hartley appeared in the 1888 film, Roundhay Garden Scene. This very short film is important because it was one of the first moving pictures ever made! In the film, Annie Hartley is seen walking backwards. People believe she was a friend of Louis Le Prince and his wife.
