Annie Hartley (1873 – unknown) was an English actress and she is credited as the earliest-born woman known to have appeared in a film.
In the 1888 film, Roundhay Garden Scene, Hartley is seen walking backwards. She is believed to be a friend of Louis Le Prince and his wife
