Anthony Grey (born in 1557, died on November 9, 1643) was an important person known as the Earl of Kent. He held this title from 1639 until his death.

Anthony Grey was the son of George Grey. His mother was Margery. Anthony's family had a long history with the Earls of Kent. His grandfather was also named Anthony Grey, and his great-grandfather was George Grey, 2nd Earl of Kent.

In 1639, Anthony Grey became the Earl of Kent. He took over the title from a distant relative, Henry Grey, 8th Earl of Kent, who did not have any children.

Besides being an Earl, Anthony Grey was also a priest in the Church of England. He served as a rector (a type of church leader) in two towns: Aston Flamville and later Burbage.
