Joining Forces
Many years later, in 1976, the Anthropological Society of Victoria joined with another group. This group was the Archaeological Society of Victoria. Archaeology is the study of human history through digging up old things. When the two groups joined, they became the Archaeological and Anthropological Society of Victoria. This new, bigger society continued to explore human history and culture.
