Antonio Gallego Burgos (born 2 October 1975) is a Spanish politician. He has held important roles in the government of Spain. He was a member of the Congress of Deputies from 2008 to 2015. The Congress of Deputies is like the main parliament of Spain, where laws are made for the whole country.
Later, he became a member of the Parliament of Catalonia in 2021. The Parliament of Catalonia makes laws for the region of Catalonia in Spain. He first joined the People's Party, then Vox, and since 2022, he has been an independent member of the Catalan Parliament. This means he is not part of a specific political group there.

Start in Politics
Mr. Gallego Burgos began his political journey with a Catalan nationalist group called Convergència i Unió. Later, he joined the People's Party of Catalonia.
