Antonio Gallego Burgos was born on October 2, 1975. He is a Spanish politician. A politician is someone who works in government.

He was a member of the Congress of Deputies from 2008 to 2015. The Congress of Deputies is like a big national parliament in Spain. He was part of the People's Party during this time.

Later, in 2015, he ran for a seat in the Parliament of Catalonia. This is the main law-making body for the region of Catalonia in Spain. He won a seat but left it six months later.

In 2021, he was elected to the Parliament of Catalonia again. This time, he represented the Vox party. He later left Vox in 2022. He continued to serve in the Parliament as an independent member.

Return to Catalan Politics

In 2021, Antonio Gallego Burgos announced he had joined the Vox party. He was then elected again to the Catalan Parliament. He represented the Barcelona district.

He is a native Catalan speaker himself. However, he has shared his views on how Catalan should be taught. He believes that children should learn both Catalan and Spanish.

Antonio Gallego Burgos is also a member of the Small and Medium Sized Business Association of Catalonia. This group supports smaller businesses in the region.
