Anwar Kamal Pasha (born February 23, 1925 – died October 13, 1987) was a very important and early Pakistani film director and producer. He is known as a pioneer in the Pakistan film industry. He was from Lahore, Pakistan.

Life and Career in Film
Anwar Kamal Pasha was a smart student. He studied at Forman Christian College in Lahore. After that, he earned two Master of Arts degrees from the University of the Punjab.
Pasha helped many new people start their careers in the Pakistan film industry. These people later became famous. Some of the film directors he trained were M. S. Dar, M. Akram, and Altaf Hussain. He also helped music directors like Master Inayat Hussain and his younger brother Master Abdullah.
He also introduced many famous Pakistani film actors. These included Aslam Pervaiz, Sabiha Khanum, Musarrat Nazir, Nayyar Sultana, Bahar Begum, and Rani. Anwar Kamal Pasha made a total of 24 movies during his career.
Family Life
Anwar Kamal Pasha was the son of a well-known poet and scholar named Hakim Ahmad Shuja. He was married to the film actress Shamim Bano. They had five children together: three sons and two daughters.
His Legacy
Anwar Kamal Pasha passed away on October 13, 1987, when he was 62 years old. He left behind a great legacy. He is remembered as one of the first and most important producers and directors in Pakistani cinema.
