James Clemmie Lowery (born June 26, 1974) is an American rapper. He is also known by his stage names Anybody Killa or ABK. He comes from Detroit, Michigan, United States. His stage character is based on a Native American warrior. He used to be signed with Psychopathic Records. Now, he releases music through his own company, Native World Inc. Before he was known as ABK, he performed as Native Funk.

Early Life and Music Beginnings

Lowery grew up in Detroit, Michigan. His parents were from Pembroke, North Carolina. His father was a preacher. His aunt and mother taught him about his Native American background. They shared stories from the Cherokee and Lumbee tribes. They also taught him about dreamcatchers.

James started making music when he was young. He used anything he could find as instruments. By age 13, he was writing his own songs. When he was 15, local kids would pay to watch him perform in his garage.

Forming Krazy Klan

In 1995, James formed a music group called Krazy Klan. He started this group with his childhood friend Lavel. James was known as Jaymo, and Lavel was J-ho.

During this time, Lowery also worked at a factory. This factory made parts for Chrysler cars. He had an accident there where he hurt his finger. Krazy Klan released two albums on their own. They performed at local clubs and parties. After a while, the group decided to break up.

Becoming Native Funk and Anybody Killa

After Krazy Klan, Lowery wanted to be a solo artist. He chose the stage name "Native Funk." He released his first solo album, Rain from the Sun. Later, he met another rapper named Chris Rouleau. Chris was known as "Blaze Ya Dead Homie."

Lowery then changed his stage name to "Anybody Killa." He and Blaze Ya Dead Homie toured together. They opened shows for popular groups like Insane Clown Posse and Twiztid. They also formed their own group called Drive-By. Their first song together was "Foodang."

Hatchet Warrior Album Success

Anybody Killa signed with Psychopathic Records. He then recorded his second album, Hatchet Warrior. This album was released on April 8, 2003. It did very well on the music charts.

During this time, Lowery joined other music groups. He became a member of Dark Lotus and Psychopathic Rydas. In Psychopathic Rydas, he used the name "Sawed Off." He and Blaze Ya Dead Homie also continued their group, Drive-By.

Road Fools EP and Native World Inc.

Anybody Killa released an EP (a shorter album) called Road Fools on March 22, 2005. This EP reached #23 on the Top Independent Albums chart.

In 2006, Lowery left Psychopathic Records. He started his own company, Native World Inc. He continued to release music and merchandise through his new label. He released several EPs in 2006, including Rattlesnake and Black Halloween. He returned to Psychopathic Records in 2008.
