Aoife Ní Fhearraigh (pronounced "EE-fa Nee AR-ee"), often known simply as Aoife, is a talented singer from Ireland. She is famous for singing traditional Irish language songs. Aoife released her first music in 1991.
She worked with another well-known Irish singer, Moya Brennan, to create her album called Aoife in 1996. People all over the world started to know her music in 1998. This happened when her song "The Best is Yet to Come" was used in the popular video game Metal Gear Solid. Aoife has also worked with other famous artists like Phil Coulter and Brian Kennedy. She has traveled and performed in many places, including the United States, Japan, and different countries in Europe.
