Arcadi Arcadievich Volodos (born February 24, 1972) is a famous pianist from Russia. He is now a French citizen. Many people consider him one of the best pianists in the world. He has won many important awards for his music recordings, such as the Echo Klassik and the Gramophone Award.

About Arcadi Volodos
Arcadi Volodos was born in Saint Petersburg (which was called Leningrad at the time) in 1972. His parents were singers, so he first studied singing. Later, he learned to be a conductor. Even though he played the piano from age eight, he didn't start serious piano lessons until 1987.
His Piano Training
He studied piano at the Moscow Conservatory Music College. His main teacher there was Galina Eguiazarova. He also studied at the Paris Conservatory and the Queen Sofía College of Music in Madrid. In Madrid, he continued to learn from Dmitri Bashkirov and Galina Eguiazarova. Today, Arcadi Volodos lives in Spain with his wife and daughter. He is a French citizen.
A Top Pianist
Even though he didn't study piano for a very long time, Arcadi Volodos quickly became one of the world's most respected pianists. Thomas Frost, who produced many recordings for famous pianists like Vladimir Horowitz, said that Volodos has everything. He praised Volodos's imagination, musical colors, passion, and amazing piano skills.
