Arcadia was a small community located right on the Mississippi River. In the year 1900, about 45 people lived there. It was a busy spot for a while because of its location on the river.

Where is Arcadia Now?
The area where Arcadia used to be is now called "Arcadia Point". It is located on the east side of an island. This island is not inhabited, meaning no one lives there today. It is still part of the mighty Mississippi River.
