Arthur Lee "Archie" Eversole (July 26, 1984 – April 3, 2022) was an American rapper. He was best known for his popular song "We Ready" released in 2002.

Early Life and Beginnings

Archie Eversole was born in Germany. His parents were serving in the military there. Later, his family moved to College Park, Georgia. This is where Archie grew up.

Music Career Highlights

Archie Eversole recorded his only full album when he was 17 years old. The album was called Ride Wit Me Dirty South Style. It was first released in 2001. A bigger record company, MCA Records, re-released it in 2002. The album became quite popular. It reached #83 on the Billboard 200 chart. It also hit #16 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

The Hit Song "We Ready"

The most famous song from the album was "We Ready". This song used a part of an older song from 1969. Even though it only reached #64 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, it became very popular in sports. The National Football League (NFL) used it in their promotions. The soccer team Atlanta United played it during their home games. The Kansas City Royals baseball team also used it as their special song in 2014.

Later Music Projects

In 2018, Archie Eversole recorded another song. It was called "United We Conquer". This song was a fight song for the Atlanta United soccer team.

Later Life and Passing

On March 25, 2022, Archie Eversole was found injured. He was taken to the hospital. Sadly, he passed away from his injuries on April 3, 2022, at 37 years old. His brother, Alexander Krause, was later arrested. He was charged in connection with Archie's death.
