Argenis Chávez was born in Sabaneta, Barinas, Venezuela. His parents are Hugo de los Reyes Chávez and Elena Frías de Chávez. He has several brothers, including Adán Chávez and Hugo Chávez.
Political Career
Argenis Chávez has held several important roles in the Venezuelan government. From 1998 to 2008, he worked as the secretary for the Barinas state government. This was when his father, Hugo de los Reyes Chávez, was the governor of the state.
In 2011, he was given a new role. He became the Vice Minister of Electrical Development. This job was part of the Ministry of Popular Power for Electric Power. His work focused on improving electricity services in the country.
