Arkadij Naiditsch was born on October 25, 1985. He is a very skilled chess player. He holds the title of Grandmaster. This is the highest title a chess player can get. Arkadij has played for several countries. He started with Latvia, then played for Germany. Later, he represented Azerbaijan. Now, he plays for Bulgaria.

Early Success in Chess

Arkadij showed his talent early. In 1995, he won a big championship. This was the European Under-10 championship. He won it when he was only 10 years old. The competition took place in Verdun.

In 2024, Arkadij changed his federation again. He now represents Bulgaria. He played for the Bulgarian team. This was at the 45th Chess Olympiad in Budapest, Hungary.

In October 2014, Arkadij Naiditsch got married. His wife is Yuliya Shvayger. She is also a chess player. She holds the title of International Master (IM). As of 2015, Arkadij lives in Baku with his family.
