Arman Alizad was born on January 12, 1971. He is a talented master tailor, a writer about fashion, and a well-known TV personality. Arman is from Iran and also has Finnish citizenship.
He is most famous for his exciting martial arts TV show, Kill Arman. This show has been seen in more than 100 countries around the world! Arman has also hosted many other popular TV shows in Finland. These include Dresscode, Unisex, Loman Tarpeessa, and Arman Reilaa.

Arman's Early Life
Arman Alizad was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1971. When the 1979 Islamic revolution began, his family moved. They first went to the United States. Later, they settled in Finland, where his grandparents lived. Arman has lived in Finland ever since. As a child, he really enjoyed skateboarding and playing football.
Becoming a Master Tailor
Arman Alizad finished basic tailoring school in 1992. After that, he became an apprentice to a very skilled tailor named Jouni Korhonen. An apprentice learns from an expert. Arman worked hard and passed his master tailor's test in 1997. This meant he was officially a master tailor!
Today, Arman co-owns a Finnish clothing company called Pukustudio. He runs it with Sonja Raassina. She is one of the few master tailors left in Finland.
Arman's TV Career
Arman Alizad started his journey in television in 2001. His first show was a fashion program called Dresscode. Since then, he has hosted another fashion show, Unisex. He also hosted two travel shows, Loman Tarpeessa and Arman Reilaa.
One of his most famous shows is the martial arts series, Kill Arman. More recently, he has hosted Arman ja viimeinen ristiretki (which means "Arman and the Last Crusade" or "Beyond Human Boundaries"). This show started in 2013. He also hosted Arman pohjantähden alla (meaning "Arman Under the North Star"), which began in 2016.
Exploring Cultures in Viimeinen ristiretki
In Viimeinen ristiretki, Arman travels to meet people and visit places. These places are very different from what we usually see in "Western culture." The show was very popular. It won the 2014 Golden Venla award for best TV reality series. Arman also won an award for being the best performer in the show.
Discovering Finland in Pohjantähden alla
In Pohjantähden alla, Arman travels around Finland. He shows viewers things that many people might not notice or prefer to ignore. This show won the Golden Venla award for best documentary in 2017. Arman himself won the award for best performer again in both 2016 and 2017.
Arman's International Success
In 2009, Kill Arman made a big deal with a British TV company called DRG. This deal helped the show reach a huge audience. Between 2009 and 2011, the series was sold to more than 100 countries!
