Athena Denise Cage (born May 6, 1970) is an American singer, music producer, and songwriter. She is from Kentucky.

Early Life and Education
Athena Cage was born and grew up in Russellville, Kentucky, in the United States. She went to college at Western Kentucky University.
Helping Her Community
In 2003, Athena Cage started "The Athena Cage Scholarship Fund." This scholarship helps students at Western Kentucky University, which is her old college. She raised money for the scholarship by holding special concerts. In 2004, she performed with the famous singer Dionne Warwick at one of these concerts.
Special Honors and Awards
Athena Cage has received some special honors for her work. She was given the title of Kentucky Colonel by Ernie Fletcher, who was the Governor of Kentucky at the time.
In 2004, a street in Russellville was renamed "Athena Cage Way." This was done to honor her. The street, which was originally Second Street, is where she grew up. This honor recognized her community work, her help for young people, and her efforts to fix up the Old Logan Theater.
