Atsuhiko Ejiri (江尻 篤彦, Ejiri Atsuhiko, born July 12, 1967) is a Japanese football manager and former player. He was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Ejiri played as a midfielder for many years. He later became a coach and manager for several football teams.

Atsuhiko Ejiri's Playing Career
Atsuhiko Ejiri was born on July 12, 1967. After finishing his studies at Meiji University, he started his professional football career in 1990. He joined a team called Furukawa Electric. This team later changed its name to JEF United Ichihara.
Becoming a Key Player
From his very first season, Ejiri played in many games. He was an important player in the midfield, helping his team attack. In 1990, his team did very well in the JSL Cup, finishing in second place.
Playing in the J1 League
In 1992, a new football league started in Japan called the J1 League. Ejiri continued to be a regular player for his team. He even became the team captain in 1996, showing his leadership skills. His team also reached the final of the 1998 J.League Cup, again finishing second. Ejiri played his last professional game at the end of the 1998 season. He played a total of 218 games for his club.
Atsuhiko Ejiri's Coaching Career
After he stopped playing, Ejiri decided to become a football coach. In 1999, he started coaching for his old team, JEF United Ichihara. He mostly worked with the main team.
Coaching Other Teams
In 2005, Ejiri moved to another team called Albirex Niigata to be a coach there. He worked under different managers for two years. Then, in 2007, he became a coach for the Japan Under-23 national team. This team played in the 2008 Summer Olympics, which was a big event.
Becoming a Manager
In 2009, Ejiri returned to JEF United, this time as a coach. However, the team was not doing well. The manager at the time was replaced, and Ejiri took over as the new manager in July 2009.
Challenges as Manager
Managing the team was tough. Even though Ejiri led the team for 15 matches, they only won one game. The team ended up in last place that season. This meant they had to move down to a lower division for the first time in the club's history. Ejiri continued to manage the team in 2010, but they couldn't get back into the top division. He left his role as manager at the end of 2010.
Second Chance as Manager
On March 18, 2019, Atsuhiko Ejiri was asked to manage JEF United again. He took over after the previous manager left. He managed the team for the rest of 2019 but left his position at the end of that season.
