Audi A2 facts for kids
The Audi A2 was a special car made by Audi. It was a 5-door hatchback, which means it had a back door that lifted up. Audi made this car from 1999 to 2005.
A cool thing about the Audi A2 was that it was built mostly from aluminium. This made the car very light. Being light helped it use less fuel, making it economical. However, building cars from aluminium was quite expensive. Because of the cost, fewer people bought the A2 over time. Only one version of this car was ever made. Later, in 2010, Audi released the A1, which was like a new, smaller car that followed the A2's idea.
