Augustin de Romanet de Beaune (born on April 2, 1961) is a French business leader. He is currently the chief executive officer of Groupe ADP. This company manages many airports, including those in Paris. Before this, he was the chairman of a big French state bank called Caisse des dépôts et consignations. He also held many important jobs in the French government from 1986 to 2006.

Early Life and Education
Augustin de Romanet de Beaune grew up in a family with a long history in France. He is the oldest son of Luc and Anne Marie de Romanet de Beaune. His family became part of the French nobility way back in the 1300s. His brother, Antoine de Romanet, is a Catholic bishop.
Augustin de Romanet went to two very important schools in France. He studied at Sciences Po, which is known for political science. He also graduated from the École nationale d'administration (ENA). ENA is a special school that trains people for high-level jobs in the French government.

Working for the Government
Augustin de Romanet started his career in the French government. He worked in the department that handles the country's money. In 1990, he moved to Brussels to help France with money decisions in the European Communities. He returned to France's budget department in 1993.
In 1995, he worked for the finance minister, Alain Madelin. Later, he became a main helper for François d'Aubert, who was a secretary of state. He also advised Alain Lamassoure in the budget ministry. Then, he worked on projects for finance minister Jean Arthuis. By 1997, he was a vice-director in the budget department.
In 2002, Augustin de Romanet was a key assistant to Alain Lambert, the Minister of the Budget. In 2004, he worked for Jean-Louis Borloo, the Minister of Employment. Later that year, he joined the team of Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin.
From 2005 to 2006, he was a top helper for the President of France.
Leading Businesses
From 1999 to 2002, Augustin de Romanet was a leader at Oddo & Cie, a French investment bank. In 2006, he was in charge of planning for Crédit Agricole, a large bank.
In 2007, Augustin de Romanet became the chairman of the Caisse des dépôts et consignations. This is a special French state bank that manages a lot of money for the country. Because of this job, he also joined the leadership teams of many companies owned by the government. From 2008 to 2012, he was also the chairman of the Fonds stratégique d'investissement, a new state-owned investment fund. He left the Caisse des dépôts in 2012.
On November 28, 2012, Augustin de Romanet became the chief executive officer of Groupe ADP. This company runs the airports in Paris. In 2014, he was chosen to lead the company for another five years. In 2015, he shared ADP's plan for 2016-2020, called Connect 2020. This plan aimed to make the company's brand stronger, grow in other countries, and make Parisian airports like special stores for the brand. In 2016, Aéroports de Paris S.A. launched two new brands. All Paris airports now use "Paris Aéroport" for travelers. The group's technical work uses the "Groupe ADP" brand.
Under his leadership, the CDG Express project, which is a train line to the airport, was restarted. He also made deals with popular brands to open stores like Victoria’s Secret and Carrefour City at Paris-Orly airport. A new business lounge was also opened there. Paris-Charles de Gaulle's Terminal E2 became a luxury shopping area. It was even named the 3rd best airport terminal in the world by Skytrax.
In 2012, ADP bought a large part of TAV Airports Holding, a Turkish airport company. Augustin de Romanet then became the vice chairman of their board. In 2015, he was chosen to be the president of ACI Europe for two years.
