Auquilohuagra is an ancient site in Peru. Its name might come from the Quechua language. Awkillu means a local god, and waqra means horn. This special place is found in the Huánuco Region, in the Yarowilca Province, specifically in the Obas District.
In 2006, Auquilohuagra was officially recognized. It was declared a part of Peru's National Cultural Heritage. This means it is a very important historical place for the country.
