Austin Young (born April 12, 1966) is an American artist. He is known for his photography, films, and new media art. He lives in Los Angeles.
Young takes pictures of famous people. He also documents different groups of people and their unique styles. He is a co-founder of Fallen Fruit. This is an art group that uses fruit to connect with people and work together on art projects.
Austin Young's Art Career
Since 1985, Austin Young has been creating art. He uses photography and film to explore ideas like identity and fame. He often shows how people express themselves through their unique styles.
Young helped create the "Tranimal Workshop" events. These workshops started in 2009 in Los Angeles. They were a way for artists to work together and explore creative ideas.
In 2011, Young had a special art show called "YOUR FACE HERE." For five weeks, he set up his art studio at the Pop tART Gallery in Los Angeles. Visitors could see him working and creating art.
