Autism Spectrum Quotient facts for kids
The autism spectrum quotient is a questionnaire which was first published in 2001 by the Autism Research Centre in Cambridge, UK. There are fifty questions in the test, and they are used to decide whether a teenager or an adult wtih average intelligence has symptoms of autism or related autism spectrum conditions. It is commonly used for self-diagnosis of autism-related spectrum conditions.
