Aérospatiale HH-65 Dolphin facts for kids
The Aérospatiale HH-65 Dolphin is a special helicopter from France. It was built just for the United States Coast Guard. This helicopter took over from the Sikorsky HH-52 Seaguard. Its main job is search and rescue, helping people in danger.
A total of 102 of these helicopters were made. They used American avionics, which are the electronic systems for aircraft. Since 2001, some of these helicopters are also known as the MH-65.
