Amadou Oury Bah (born in 1958) is a politician from Guinea. He has served as the Prime Minister of Guinea since February 2024. Before becoming Prime Minister, he was a leader in several political groups.

Understanding Bah Oury's Early Life
Amadou Oury Bah was born in Pita, Guinea, in 1958. When he was six years old, his family moved to Senegal. They left Guinea to escape the government of Ahmed Sékou Touré. Bah Oury returned to Guinea after Touré passed away in 1984.
Bah Oury's Political Journey
Starting Political Parties
Bah Oury helped create the Union of Democratic Forces of Guinea (UFDG) in 1991. He was a vice president of this party. In 2016, he left the UFDG and became the leader of another party, the Union of Democrats for the Rebirth of Guinea (UDRG). Later, in September 2019, he joined the Union for Democracy and Development (UDD). He became its president before leaving the party in May 2020.
Serving as a Minister
In 2007, Bah Oury was chosen to be the Minister of National Reconciliation. This happened after many people were hurt during protests. In 2011, there was an attack near the home of President Alpha Condé. Bah Oury then went to France and lived there for four years. In 2016, President Condé allowed him to return to Guinea.
Becoming Prime Minister
In 2021, President Condé's government was changed by a military takeover. On February 27, 2024, Bah Oury was appointed as the Prime Minister of Guinea. He leads a team of 29 government officials, including six women.
