Bahman Mofid (Persian: بهمن مفید; July 27, 1942 – August 16, 2020) was a famous Iranian actor. He was also a singer and a voice actor. He started his acting career in 1969 and continued until 2020. He is well-known for his roles in popular films like Qeysar, Reza Motori, and Dash Akol.

Bahman Mofid was born on July 27, 1942, in a village called Garakan, near Arak, Iran. His father, Gholam-Hossein Mofid, was also an actor and a director for plays.

Acting ran in his family! Bahman had several siblings who were also involved in the arts. His brother, Bijan Mofid, was a playwright (someone who writes plays). Another brother, Ardavan Mofid, was an actor, and his sister, Hengameh Mofid, was a poet and songwriter. Bahman started acting when he was just a child, learning from his father.

Bahman Mofid passed away on August 16, 2020, after a brave fight with cancer.
