The Bairoil City Hall is a very special building in Bairoil, Wyoming. It's the only building left from the town's early days that is still in its original spot. This makes it a unique piece of history!
Bairoil started as a "company town." This means a company, the Bair Oil Company, built the whole town. They built it to house workers for the oil fields nearby.

After Amoco sold the town, Bairoil officially became its own town. This happened in 1980. When Bairoil became an official town, this historic building became its city hall. It has been serving the community ever since.
