Bajaur (Urdu: باجوڑ) is a district in Pakistan. It is located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Until 2018, Bajaur was a special area called an "Agency." These agencies were part of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). In 2018, FATA joined the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. This made Bajaur a regular district. It is the smallest of the former agencies. Bajaur has many hills and shares a border with Afghanistan.

Bajaur is mainly home to the Tarkani Pashtuns. There are also other important Pashtun groups. These include the Utmankhel, Mamund, and a smaller number of Safis. The Utmankhel live in the southeast of Bajaur. The Mamund are found in the southwest. The Tarkani live in the northern parts of the district. There are also some Gujar people living here.
