Banoak is a small place in Catawba County, North Carolina, in the United States. It is also sometimes called Corinth. Banoak is known as an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government. Instead, it's part of the larger county.
Banoak is easy to find because it's located right on North Carolina Highway 10. It's about 10.8 miles (17.4 km) south-southwest of a larger city called Hickory.
