Bardney Limewoods facts for kids
The Bardney Limewoods are a special group of small woods located near Bardney in Lincolnshire, England. They are part of a bigger area called the Lincolnshire Limewoods National Nature Reserve. This means they are protected places where nature can thrive. About half of all the Limewoods in this area are part of this reserve. One of the most important parts is Cocklode Wood. It has the best remaining ancient lime trees in England, some dating back to the Middle Ages.
