About Bardstown Junction
Its History
Bardstown Junction grew because it was a meeting point for two important railroad lines. Imagine two train tracks crossing or joining up! This made it a good spot for people to settle and for businesses to start.
A post office opened here in 1866. This was a place where people could send and receive letters and packages. The post office served the community for many years. It finally closed down in 1957.
