Anthonius Hubertus "Bart" Carlier (born June 23, 1929 – died May 4, 2017) was a talented Dutch football player. He was known for playing as a striker, which means he was a forward player whose main job was to score goals.
Bart Carlier spent eight seasons playing football in France. During his time there, he helped his team, AS Monaco, win league championships in both 1961 and 1963. He also proudly represented the Dutch national team five times, scoring two goals for his country. Bart Carlier passed away in Strasbourg, France, at the age of 87.

After his time in France, he returned to the Netherlands to play for Fortuna '54 from 1955 to 1958. This was a very productive period for him. He played 93 games and scored an impressive 40 goals.
He then went back to France to play for Monaco from 1958 to 1964. This was the longest period he spent with one club. He played 167 games for Monaco and scored 36 goals. It was with Monaco that he won two league championships, making him a true champion.
