Basket Lake is a natural freshwater lake located in Highlands County, Florida. It's found just north of the city of Sebring, Florida, and near another lake called Dinner Lake. Basket Lake covers an area of about 61.6 acres (which is about 249,287 square meters).
This unique lake is shaped a bit like a peanut! It is surrounded by many citrus groves, which are farms where fruits like oranges and grapefruits grow. A road called Basket Lake Road goes all the way around these groves.
