Basquiñuelas is a tiny village, also known as a hamlet. It is located in the Ribera Alta/Erriberagoitia area of Álava province, which is part of the Basque Country in Spain.
This small community is also a council (called a concejo in Spanish). This means it has its own local government. As of 2020, only 5 people lived in Basquiñuelas, making it a very quiet place!
Where is Basquiñuelas Located?
Basquiñuelas is found in the western part of the Álava province. It is about 28 kilometers (17 miles) west of Vitoria-Gasteiz. Vitoria-Gasteiz is the capital city of the Basque Country. This makes Basquiñuelas a rural spot, away from the busy city life.
