The Battle of Neukalen was an important fight during the Seven Years' War. It happened on January 2, 1762, in a place called Neukalen in Germany. This battle was between soldiers from Sweden and Prussia.
The Swedish army was led by Carl Constantin De Carnall. They faced the Prussian forces, who were commanded by Wilhelm Sebastian von Belling. The Prussians were set up on a hill near the town of Malchin.

The Seven Years' War was a huge global conflict. It lasted from 1756 to 1763. Many powerful countries were involved. These included Great Britain, Prussia, and Hanover on one side. On the other side were France, Austria, Russia, Sweden, and Spain.

A special cavalry unit, known as a hussar regiment, was also part of their force. This regiment had ten squadrons, which are smaller groups of cavalry.

The Swedish forces were successful in this battle. They managed to defeat the Prussian soldiers. The Prussians were forced to retreat from their position on the hill.

The Battle of Neukalen was a victory for Sweden. It showed the strength of their army.

Both sides had soldiers who were killed or wounded.

- The Prussian army had 50 soldiers killed. About 120 were wounded. They also had 180 soldiers captured by the Swedes.
