Her Early Life and Education
Beatriz Montañez started her career in radio. She worked at Onda Mancha in her hometown of Almadén. Later, she moved to the United States to study. She earned a degree in journalism from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). While in the U.S., she also worked for Spanish-language radio stations like Telemundo and Radio KLVE.
After returning to Spain, Beatriz continued her studies. She learned about audiovisual communication and production at the Institute of RTVE. She also completed an online master's program from Harvard University.
Her Career in Television
In 2006, Beatriz Montañez joined the TV show El intermedio on LaSexta. She was a co-host alongside El Gran Wyoming. This was a comedy news program that became very popular. She worked on the show for five years. In 2011, she decided to leave the program. Sandra Sabatés took her place as co-host.
Later, in 2013, Beatriz moved to Telecinco. She hosted a debate show called El gran debate with Jordi González. In March 2014, she started hosting Hable con ellas. This was an interview TV-magazine show on the same channel. She hosted this show until July of that year.

Beatriz Montañez has also acted in films. In 2011, she starred in a movie called 88. This film was directed by Jordi Mollá. She also had a small part in the comedy movie De chica en chica in 2015.
