Rebecca "Becky" Griffin (Hebrew: רבקה "בקי" גריפין; born December 27, 1977) is an Israeli-American television host, model, actress, and sports journalist. She is known for her work on TV and in fashion campaigns.

About Becky Griffin

Becky Griffin was born in Givatayim, Israel. Her mother, Ariela, worked as an accountant. Her father, Bob Griffin, was born in America. He played professional basketball for Israeli teams in the 1970s. He is also a professor of English Literature. Becky has a younger brother named Oren.

Becky started her career early. When she was 11, she appeared in a TV commercial. After that, she starred in many commercials and advertising campaigns. She worked as a sports reporter for the Israeli Sport 5 Channel. She also hosted shows for young people on Channel 1 in Israel. She reported for other TV programs like Erev Tov Im Guy Pines and In & Out. In 2003, Becky also acted in an Israeli drama film called Matana MiShamayim.

Her Career in Media and Modelling

On May 12, 2003, Becky became a VJ for MTV Europe. A VJ introduces music videos and talks about music news. She left her job at the Israeli sports channel to join MTV. Before 2005, Becky lived in the United Kingdom. There, she hosted shows like Dance Floor Chart and the World Chart Express on MTV Europe. She also hosted many special programs across Europe.

While she was in the UK, Becky was chosen for a big advertising campaign. She starred in the Nissan Micra car campaign all over Europe. In December 2003, she also became the main face for the Israeli fashion brand Castro.

Becky returned to Israel in 2005. A year later, she started studying cinema and television at Tel Aviv University (TAU). She also worked as a media advisor for the Student Union during student events.

In 2008, Becky reported on the EuroLeague basketball games for Israel's Channel 10. In 2010, she hosted a show called "Inside Israeli Basketball." This show was about Israeli basketball and aired on several American TV channels.

In August 2011, Becky Griffin noticed something important. The Nivea Cosmetics website did not list Israel as a country option. However, it did include the Palestinian territories. Becky wrote a letter to Nivea about this issue. She shared her letter on her Facebook page. Many people noticed this problem. Soon after, Nivea updated its website to include Israel. Nivea explained that the website for Israel had been under construction.
