Befotaka is a town in the Atsimo-Atsinanana Region. This region is located in the southeastern part of Madagascar. The town is found near the Itomampy river.
Getting to Befotaka
Reaching Befotaka can be a bit of an adventure! If you are coming from the coast or the town of Vangaindrano, you will travel on a road called RN T18. This road is about 94 kilometers long. It is not paved and can be quite rough. This road leads to a place called Nosifeno. From Nosifeno, you then take another road for about 42 kilometers to reach Befotaka.
