Behnam Abolghasempour (Persian: بهنام ابوالقاسمپور) is a former football player from Iran. He was born on August 24, 1973. Behnam played as a forward, which means he was a player who focused on scoring goals for his team.
He played for several well-known Iranian football clubs during his career. These included Saipa, Persepolis, Pas, and Sorkhpoushan. He also had the honor of playing for the Iran national football team four times, where he scored two goals for his country.
After retiring as a player, Behnam Abolghasempour continued to be involved in football. He is currently working as a sporting director at Rah Ahan football club.

Behnam's Football Journey
Behnam Abolghasempour started his football journey in youth teams. He played for Kaveh Rey from 1986 to 1990. After that, he joined Tehran Municipality Region 20, playing there until 1994. His last youth club was Tolypers, where he played from 1994 to 1996.
Playing for Top Clubs
Behnam began his professional career with Saipa F.C. in 1996 and stayed with them until 2001. He then moved to Persepolis, one of Iran's most famous clubs, playing there from 2001 to 2003.
From 2003 to 2006, he played for Pas. His last club as a player was Sorkhpoushan, where he played in 2006 and 2007 before retiring.
Representing His Country
In 2000, Behnam Abolghasempour was selected to play for the Iran national football team. He played in four international matches for Iran and managed to score two goals, which is a great achievement for any player.
