María de Belén López (born March 28, 1970), known as Belén López, is a Spanish actress. She is famous for her roles in many TV series. These include Motivos Personales (2005), where she played Maite Valcárcel. She also starred as Bea in Pelotas (2009–2010). From 2012 to 2013, she played Carola in Luna, el misterio de Calenda.

Early Life and Training
Belén López studied acting at the Centro Andaluz de Teatro (CAT). She trained alongside other well-known actors like Paco León and Paz Vega. During her studies, she faced personal challenges. Despite this, she kept learning music, singing, dancing, and acrobatics.
Her first small role was in the TV series Plaza Alta. She then got a main role in Castillos en el Aire. This show was a follow-up to Plaza Alta. In 1998, she had a small part in the film Yular.
Rising to Fame in TV and Film
In 2001, Belén López played Raquel Conde in Esencia de poder. The next year, she was Bárbara in the hospital drama Hospital Central. In 2003, she appeared as Lorena in Una nueva vida.
From 2000 to 2006, she also sang with a group called Rayo y los Trueno. In 2006, she got her first big movie role in La Distancia. This film was about boxing and was very popular. It was shown at the San Sebastian Film Festival. Belén López was even nominated for a Goya Award for Best New Actress.
Moving to Madrid and Continued Success
After that, she moved to Madrid to continue her acting career. She became even more popular after playing Maite Valcárcel in Motivos Personales in 2005. This role helped her win an award. She also received praise for her role in Llévame a otro sitio.
