Maribel Pérez (born 29 January 1976), known by her stage name Belle Perez, is a talented Belgian-Spanish musician and songwriter. She is famous for her lively pop and Latin music.
Belle Perez was born in Neerpelt, Belgium. Her parents were from Spain. She was discovered at a local talent show in 1997 when she was 21 years old. This was the start of her amazing music journey.
In 1999, Belle took part in the Belgian tryouts for the Eurovision Song Contest 1999. Her career really took off after that. She began with pop music. In 2002, she changed her style to a mix of Latin and pop. She started performing live with her own band, "Baila Perez." The album that came with this new style was a huge hit. It stayed at the top of the Belgian music charts for many weeks.
