Ben Clark is an American politician born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in 1959. He served as a state senator in the North Carolina Senate for ten years, from 2013 to 2023. During his time in the Senate, he represented people living in Hoke and Cumberland counties. He was also a leader for the Democratic Party in the Senate.
In September 2021, Ben Clark shared that he would not run for re-election in 2022. Later, in November 2021, he announced his plan to run for a seat in the United States Congress.
