Benito Perojo González (born in Madrid, Spain, on June 14, 1894 – died in Madrid, Spain, on November 11, 1974) was a very successful Spanish film director and film producer. He helped create many movies during his long career.

Benito Perojo was the son of José Perojo Figueras and Ana Cortina Fuentes. His father, José, was a journalist and politician who came from Cuba.
Benito Perojo was recognized for his work. On July 18, 1966, he received a special award called the Grand Cross of the Order of Civil Merit. This award is given to people who have done great things for their country.
He passed away in Madrid when he was 80 years old. He is remembered for his many contributions to Spanish cinema.
