Bernese Alps facts for kids
The Bernese Alps are a famous group of mountain ranges in the western part of the Alps. You can find them in Switzerland. Even though they are called "Bernese Alps" because they are mostly in the Bernese Oberland area of the canton of Bern, parts of these mountains also stretch into other Swiss regions. These include the cantons of Vaud, Fribourg, Valais, Lucerne, Uri, and Nidwalden. These mountains are known for their stunning views and tall peaks.
