Berta Riaza Gómez (born July 27, 1927 – died July 24, 2022) was a famous Spanish actress. She had a very long career, acting for almost 60 years! During this time, she appeared in over 100 movies and 60 stage plays. She was known for her strong performances and became a respected figure in Spanish theater and film.

Berta Riaza's Acting Journey
Berta Riaza was born in Madrid, Spain. She started her acting career very young, in 1947. Her first role was in a play called Historia de una casa. This was the beginning of her amazing journey on stage.
From Stage to Screen
In 1959, Berta Riaza made her first movie. It was called Diez fusiles esperan. She became well-known for her roles in several films. Some of her most famous movies include Entre tinieblas (1983), Luces de bohemia (1985), and El placer de matar (1988). She also starred in El Puzzle in 2000.
Television Appearances
Even though Berta Riaza mostly worked in movies and theater, she also appeared on television. She was part of a few shows with Televisión Española. In 1980, she played Doña Guillermina in the miniseries Fortunata y Jacinta.
