About Beth Goobie
Beth Goobie grew up in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. After finishing school, she worked in Holland. She then studied at the University of Winnipeg. She earned degrees in English and Religious Studies. Later, she worked with young people. She lived in Winnipeg and Edmonton. Today, she lives in Saskatoon.
Her Writing Journey
Beth Goobie started publishing her poems in 1987. Her work has appeared in many Canadian magazines. These include The Fiddlehead and Malahat Review. Her poems have been chosen for special collections. For example, one of her poems was in 2021 Best Canadian Poetry.
