Beth Simone Noveck (born in 1971) is a professor at Northeastern University. She is also the first Chief AI Strategist for the State of New Jersey. This means she helps New Jersey use artificial intelligence (AI) in smart ways. Before this, she was New Jersey's first Chief Innovation Officer.

At Northeastern, she leads a group called The Governance Lab (or The GovLab). This group finds new ways to make government more open and helpful for people. She has written several books about how technology can improve government. These include Solving Public Problems and Wiki Government.

From 2009 to 2011, she worked for President Obama. She was the United States deputy chief technology officer for open government. She helped make government more transparent and easier for citizens to access. She also advised UK Prime Minister David Cameron on open government. Later, in 2018, Governor Phil Murphy appointed her to be New Jersey's Chief Innovation Officer.
