Bernard Thomas (born August 22, 1948 – died June 16, 2019) was an American singer and comedian. He was much better known by his stage name, Bishop Bullwinkle. He became famous for his funny videos and songs, especially one called "Hell to the Naw Naw" which became very popular online.

Bishop Bullwinkle's real name was Bernard Thomas. He got the "Bullwinkle" part of his name when he was a kid. A classmate wrote that Bernard Thomas was funny like Bullwinkle the moose. He lived in Plant City, Florida. People had different opinions about his style and songs. Some really liked his music, while others did not.

Bishop Bullwinkle became very famous because of his song "Hell to the Naw Naw." The music video for this song was filmed outside. In the video, he wore a white suit, sunglasses, and a white hat. There was also a podium with a monkey and a fire extinguisher.
The video quickly became a huge hit online. By July 22, 2015, it had over 200,000 views. By August 15, 2020, one video of the song had over 50 million views! Another video had more than 12 million views. The song was even played on the TV channel NBC.
A video of an 86-year-old grandmother dancing to the song also went viral. Her name was Claudia Haggerty, and her granddaughter Beverly Jenkins posted the video. By September 4, 2015, it had 3 million views and was shared over 100,000 times on Facebook.
