The Story of Black Mark Production
Many people wondered if Quorthon was involved in running Black Mark Production. He had often said that he only helped with the idea and name for the label. The name was even used in the title of Bathory's 1987 album, Under the Sign of the Black Mark.
Quorthon's father, Börje "Boss" Forsberg, owned another music company called Tyfon Grammofon. Quorthon was allowed to use a special label for all Bathory albums. This started with their first album in 1984. However, Black Mark Production officially became its own separate company in 1991. Many people believe that Boss Forsberg was the one who founded it.
